Peridot is the birthstone for the month of August. It was long thought of as a gemstone that brings good fortune + peace to those that wear it.

Peridot is mainly found in rocks made from once smoldering-volcanoes, forming under extreme pressure miles beneath the Earth’s surface. It is one of the few gemstones to be found in a singular color.
